The Everest View Hotel from the inside, Nepal 1982
The Everest View Hotel in Khumjung was built in 1971 under the supervision by japanese Takashi Miyahara. Until 2004 it was the highest placed hotel in the world, at 3880 meters above sea level. It was almost closed in 1982. We managed to get some tea. Later the hotel has been restored and is now running. I visited the place in 2013.
